MELBOURNE TRANSPORT
Landcare Australia would like to offer all National Landcare Conference delegates free travel on buses, trains and trams in Melbourne (approximately 60 km radius from Melbourne CBD) from Wednesday 17th September 2014 through to Friday 19th September 2014.
Simply show your lanyard which will display the Public Transport Victoria logo to the drivers/conductors which will allow you to travel free of charge. You will receive your lanyard upon registration at either your selected field trip or the designate registration desk at the Crown Conference Centre from 9.00 am, Wednesday 17th September 2014.

To Crown Conference Centre
TramsTram route 55 (Domain Interchange to West Coburg) stops on Queensbridge Street outside the Crown Towers main entrance.
Tram routes 96 (St Kilda to East Brunswick), 109 (Port Melbourne to Box Hill), 112 (St Kilda to West Preston) stop on Clarendon Street outside the Crown Casino Main Complex.
TrainsThe Crown Conference Centre is a short walk from both Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations.
Taxis
There are a number of taxi ranks located around Crown including the Crown Casino Main Entertainment Complex (Clarendon Street). Taxis are also available from the Crown Towers Hotel, Crown Promenade Hotel and Crown Metropol Hotel Concierges.

Trams
Tram route 86 or 96 stops at the corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets. Free City Circle Tram to Victoria Parade.
Catch the City loop train to Parliament Station
Buses
Bus routes 250, 251 and 402 stop at Rathdowne Street (9 minute walk to the Royal Exhibition Building)
AIRPORT TRANSFER INFORMATION
There are a couple of options for transfers from Melbourne Airport to the CBD that conference delegates can avail of.
SKYBUSSkyBus is a reliable, low-cost airport bus that runs express between Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Southern Cross Station in Melbourne’s city centre – 24/7, with day departures every 10 minutes.
Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the bus stop in the airport or purchased online.
Adults one way - $18 or return - $30
Child (4-14 years) one way $7 or return $13
The SkyBus Hotel Transfer Service can also transport you between Southern Cross Station and select city accommodation.

TAXI
You can catch a taxi from designated taxi ranks in the airport, unless you have pre-booked one. Taxi ranks are located on the ground floor outside Terminals 1 and between Terminal 2 and 3. Taxi fares vary based on distance, location and time of travel. Additional charges apply when booking in advance, making an electronic payment, using toll roads, or when your taxi has five or more passengers. Using a taxi from the airport taxi rank incurs an additional $2.70 fee that may be passed on to you.
